Method and apparatus for processing a SOME/IP stream through interworking with AVB technology

A method for processing a Service Oriented Middleware over Internet Protocol (SOME/IP) stream through interworking with Audio Video Bridging (AVB) in a server, the method comprising steps of:

• determining a transmission scheme for the SOME/IP stream through a SOME/IP service discovery procedure;
• reserving and allocating a bandwidth information required for transmission of the SOME/IP stream through a layer 2 of AVB if the determined transmission scheme is an L2-Frame;
• generating an InitialEvent message including the reserved and allocated bandwidth information;
• and
• transmitting the generated InitialEvent message to a client according to the determined transmission scheme,
• wherein, when the determined transmission scheme is the L2-Frame and the server receives a ready message including the reserved and allocated bandwidth information from the client, the SOME/IP stream is transmitted through the layer 2 of AVB.
