## Abstract

A method may include dispensing a dose of an inhalable compound according to a dosing instruction set; and maintaining a hands-free article for dispensing the inhalable compound in an operable dispensing position.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method for administering an inhalable compound, comprising:
dispensing for inhalation by a user a dose of an inhalable compound according to a dosing instruction set;
maintaining in physical association with the user a hands-free article for dispensing the inhalable compound in an operable dispensing position, the operable dispensing position excluding physical contact between an outlet of the hands-free article and a face of the user; and
receiving the inhalable compound.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a reservoir.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
monitoring a quantity of the inhalable compound in the reservoir.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
logging a quantity of the inhalable compound in the reservoir.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
logging a quantity of the inhalable compound dispensed from the reservoir.

### Claim 6 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
logging a time of the inhalable compound dispensed from the reservoir.

### Claim 7 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
logging a dispersion pattern of the inhalable compound dispensed from the reservoir.

### Claim 8 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
logging a species of the inhalable compound dispensed from the reservoir.

### Claim 9 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
transmitting a set of logged reservoir information to an external location.

### Claim 10 (depends on 2)

The method of claim 2, further comprising:
activating an alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein activating an alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved comprises:
activating a visual alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein activating an alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved comprises:
activating an auditory alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

The method of claim 10, wherein activating an alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved comprises:
activating an electronic alert when a quantity threshold of the inhalable compound in the reservoir is achieved.

### Claim 14 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a reloadable reservoir.

### Claim 15 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in at least one of a disposable reservoir or a multi-component reservoir.

### Claim 16 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a multi-compound reservoir.

### Claim 17 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a single compound reservoir.

### Claim 18 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a dispensing reservoir.

### Claim 19 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a modular reservoir.

### Claim 20 (depends on 1)

receiving the inhalable compound in a programmable reservoir.

### Claim 21 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, wherein receiving the inhalable compound comprises:
receiving the inhalable compound in a weighted reservoir.

### Claim 22 (depends on 1)

The method of claim 1, further comprising:
containing the inhalable compound in a reservoir.

### Claim 23

A method for administering an inhalable compound, comprising:
dispensing for inhalation by a user a dose of an inhalable compound according to a dosing instruction set;
maintaining in physical association with the user a hands-free article, the hands free article configured for disposal around at least one of a neck portion, a torso portion, or a wrist portion of the user, the hands free article including a support member configured for maintaining the inhalable compound in an operable dispensing position, the operable dispensing position oriented to exclude physical contact between an outlet of the hands-free article and a face of the user; and
receiving the inhalable compound in a reservoir.
