Waste storage device

A cartridge for holding waste, comprising:

• a cartridge body having a ring shape, said cartridge body having an inner wall defining a central opening, and an outer wall opposite said inner wall, said outer wall having a plurality of ridges extending vertically along at least a portion of said outer wall;
• a continuous length of film stored within said cartridge body;
• and
• a cartridge top that at least partially contains said film within said cartridge body, said cartridge top having a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of slits and/or apertures, said cartridge top extending from one of said outer wall and said inner wall thereby defining a gap such that said film can be dispensed out of said cartridge body and through said central opening.

A cartridge for holding waste, comprising:

• a cartridge body having a ring shape, said cartridge body having an inner wall defining a central opening, and an outer wall opposite said inner wall, said outer wall having a plurality of ridges;
• a continuous length of film stored within said cartridge body;
• and
• a film grip ring that at least partially contacts said film and contains said film within said cartridge body, said film grip ring is attachable to said cartridge body and controls release of said film through said central opening, wherein said film grip ring comprises a plurality of slits and/or apertures.
