Method for the preparation of microencapsulated essential oils or a formulation thereof for various non-agricultural applications.
Claims17
A microcapsule comprising an encapsulating amphiphatic shell surrounding a core, said encapsulating amphiphatic shell comprising a multivalent salt form of at least one alkanoic acid, and said core comprising at least one essential oil or derivative thereof, which microcapsules contain the essential oil in an amount of 60-95% of the weight of the microcapsule.
