Abstract
In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for a mobile wind power support structure, comprising a superstructure with mobile platform support structures, and a plurality of deployable rotating wind power structures, wherein the plurality of deployable rotating wind power structures are positioned in the superstructure through a wind orientation facility.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- a plurality of wind energy conversion modules, each one of the plurality of wind energy conversion modules comprising a nozzle that includes an intake, a diffuser, and a throat between the intake and the diffuser, wherein a first diameter of an entrance of the intake and a second diameter of an exit of the diffuser are greater than a third diameter of the throat and wherein a rotor is positioned within the throat to convert the flow of air into a rotational energy;
- a collapsible support structure supporting the plurality of nozzles in the plurality of wind energy conversion modules;
- and
- a non-mechanized element that uses an airflow to orient the plurality of nozzles in the collapsible support structure in a direction of the airflow.
