Abstract
The present invention relates to a mold for a multi-layer container. The mold includes a cold-half portion containing a cavity, and a hot-half portion containing a first resin flow path for connecting an interior of a first injection cylinder to the cavity, a second resin flow path for connecting an interior of a second injection cylinder to the cavity, and a junction portion of the first resin flow path and the second resin flow path. The junction portion in the hot-half portion is positioned upstream of a gate portion opened to the cavity included in the cold-half portion, the second resin flow path contains an inhibitor for partially inhibiting a resin flow.
Claims15
A mold for a multi-layer container, the mold comprising:
- a cold-half portion (I) comprising a cavity;
- and
- a hot-half portion (II) comprising a first resin flow path for connecting an interior of a first injection cylinder to the cavity, a second resin flow path for connecting an interior of a second injection cylinder to the cavity, and a junction portion of the first resin flow path and the second resin flow path,
- wherein:
- the junction portion in the hot-half portion (II) is positioned upstream of a gate portion opened to the cavity included in the cold-half portion (I);
- the second resin flow path comprises an inhibitor for partially inhibiting a resin flow and a pin situated entirely upstream of the inhibitor, such that the partially inhibiting of the resin flow by the inhibitor does not block the center of the second resin flow path;
- the inhibitor comprises a convex portion in at least one part in the second resin flow path;
- and
- the convex portion comprises a longest portion in a diameter direction and a longest portion in a circumferential tangential direction of a cross-section in a direction vertical to a flow direction of the second resin flow path, such that the longest portion in the diameter direction has a length of ‘a’ (mm), and the longest portion in the circumferential tangential direction has a length of ‘b’ (mm), in which a and b satisfy the following relationships
- 0.01r≦a≦1r (Expression 1), and
- 0.01r≦b≦1r (Expression 2),
- and where ‘r’ represents a radius (mm) of the second resin flow path.
A mold for a multi-layer container, the mold comprising:
- a cold-half portion (I) comprising a cavity;
- and
- a hot-half portion (II) comprising a first resin flow path for connecting an interior of a first injection cylinder to the cavity, a second resin flow path for connecting an interior of a second injection cylinder to the cavity, and a junction portion of the first resin flow path and the second resin flow path,
- wherein:
- the junction portion in the hot-half portion (II) is positioned upstream of a gate portion opened to the cavity included in the cold-half portion (I);
- the second resin flow path comprises an inhibitor for partially inhibiting a resin flow and a pin situated entirely upstream of the inhibitor, such that the partially inhibiting of the resin flow by the inhibitor does not block the center of the second resin flow path;
- and
- the inhibitor comprises a convex portion in at least one site in the second resin flow path.
A mold for a multi-layer container, the mold comprising:
- a cold-half portion (I) comprising a cavity;
- and
- a hot-half portion (II) comprising a first resin flow path for connecting an interior of a first injection cylinder to the cavity, a second resin flow path for connecting an interior of a second injection cylinder to the cavity, and a junction portion of the first resin flow path and the second resin flow path,
- wherein:
- the junction portion in the hot-half portion (II) is positioned upstream of a gate portion opened to the cavity included in the cold-half portion (I);
- a section of the hot-half portion (II) above the junction portion is configured such that the first resin flow path is provided in a center of the second resin flow path, and the section further comprises an inhibitor for partially inhibiting a resin flow;
- the inhibitor is situated in a circumferential portion of the first resin flow path provided in the center of the second resin flow path, and the inhibitor comprises a convex portion in at least one part in the second resin flow path;
- and
- the convex portion comprises a longest portion in a diameter direction and a longest portion in a circumferential tangential direction of a cross-section in a direction vertical to a flow direction of the second resin flow path, such that the longest portion in the diameter direction has a length of ‘a’ (mm), and the longest portion in the circumferential tangential direction has a length of ‘b’ (mm), in which a and b satisfy the following relationships
- 0.01r≦a≦1r (Expression 1), and
- 0.01r≦b≦1r (Expression 2),
- and where ‘r’ represents a radius (mm) of the second resin flow path.
