Abstract
A threaded tubular component configured for drilling or working hydrocarbon wells, the tubular component including, at one of its ends, a threaded zone formed on its external or internal peripheral surface depending on whether the threaded end is male or female in type. The end portion is at least partially coated with a dry film, including a thermoplastic or thermoset matrix including microcapsules filled with compounds in liquid form.
Claims14
A tubular element configured for drilling and/or working a hydrocarbon well, comprising:
- an end portion comprising at least one threaded zone,
- wherein the end portion is at least partially coated with a dry film, including a thermoplastic or thermoset matrix including microcapsules filled with compounds in liquid form chosen from linear polydimethylsiloxanes with a kinematic viscosity in a range of 100 to 12500 mm2/s at 25° C. and with a molecular mass in a range of 10000 to 80000 g/mole.
A tubular connection configured for drilling and/or working a hydrocarbon well, comprising:
- at least one tubular element having an end portion,
- wherein the end portion is at least partially coated with a dry film comprising a thermoplastic or thermoset matrix including microcapsules filled with compounds in liquid form chosen from linear polydimethylsiloxanes with a kinematic viscosity in a range of 100 to 12500 mm2/s at 25° C. and with a molecular mass in a range of 10000 to 80000 g/mole.
