Abstract
The invention relates to a movement system that is associated with a wrapping machine for wrapping a load with a film including at least one operating unit for performing operations on the load or on the film. The system includes shuttles that are movable for supporting and moving the operating units along a path at least between an operating position in which the operating units can perform operations on the load or on the film or can interact with the wrapping machine, and a inactive position in which the operating units are outside a working zone of the wrapping machine in order not to interfere with the operation thereof.
Claims12
Apparatus for moving at least one operating unit of a machine for wrapping a load with a film, comprising
- a shuttle assembly for supporting and moving at least one of said operating units along a path between an operating position in which said operating unit is operable on at least one of the load and the film and an inactive position in which said operating unit is beyond a working zone of the wrapping machine where said operating unit cannot interfere with the operation of the wrapping machine, said shuttle assembly comprising a plurality of shuffles that are connected to form a convoy of shuffles.
