Abstract
A recombinant vector comprises simian adenovirus 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 or 50 sequences and a heterologous gene under the control of regulatory sequences. A cell line which expresses simian adenovirus 43, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 or 50 gene(s) is also disclosed. Methods of using the vectors and cell lines are provided.
Claims18
A recombinant adenovirus having an adenovirus capsid comprising a hexon protein, a penton protein, and a fiber protein, wherein said hexon protein is a hexon protein of SAdV-43 with the amino acids 1 to 955 of SEQ ID NO:
- 11;
- said capsid encapsidating a nucleic acid molecule comprising a gene heterologous to SAdV-43 operably linked to expression control sequences which direct transcription, translation, and/or expression thereof in a host cell.
A recombinant adenovirus having a capsid comprising a fiber protein, a penton protein and a hexon protein, said hexon being a full-length hexon protein comprising (a) the full length of amino acids about 51 to 955 of SEQ ID NO:
- 11 or (b) the full length of amino acids 1 to about 905 of SEQ ID NO:
- 11, said adenovirus capsid encapsidating a gene heterologous to SAdV-43 operably linked to expression control sequences which direct transcription, translation, and/or expression thereof in a host cell.
