Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of non-deactivatable security compositions comprising the combination of at least two types of particles of oxide materials, where said particles have a different size and/or morphology, and where the inorganic oxide materials have at least one transition metal or one lanthanide element, and radiofrequency wave absorption properties. The invention also relates to security articles, documents or elements incorporating these compositions, as well as to a method and to a system for detection thereof.
Claims15
A method for preparing or marking a security document or article, said method comprising incorporating in said security document or article a composition comprising a combination of at least two types of particles of inorganic oxide materials, where each of the at least two types of particles has a different size and morphology characterized in that variation in the size distribution is less than 20% of mean particle size, and
- where the inorganic oxide materials have at least one transition metal or one lanthanide element, and radiofrequency wave absorption properties characterized by an intensity and bandwidth specific for each oxide material.
A security article, document or element comprising a composition comprising a combination of at least two types of particles of inorganic oxide materials, where each of the at least two types of particles has a different size and morphology characterized in that variation in the size distribution is less than 20% of mean particle size, and where the inorganic oxide materials have at least one transition metal or one lanthanide element, and radiofrequency wave absorption properties characterized by an intensity and bandwidth specific for each oxide material.
A chemical composition for preparing or document or article comprising the a combination of at least two types of particles of inorganic oxide materials, where each of the at least two types of particles has a different size and morphology characterized in that variation in the particle size distribution is less than 20% of mean particle size, and
- where the inorganic oxide materials have at least one lanthanide element, and radiofrequency wave absorption properties characterized by an intensity an bandwidth specific for each oxide material.
