Abstract
An aryl phosphine with fused ring ortho-alkoxy substitution that includes an aryl monophosphine and an aryl bi-sphosphme.
Claims10
An aryl phosphine of Formula (I):
- where n is an integer in a range from 1 to 3, where R1 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where each R2 and R2′ is independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where R4, R5, R6, and R7 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl having 3 to 18 carbons, a halogen, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where permissible substituents on R1, R2, R2′, R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7 are functional groups that include heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen, halogens, sulfur, boron, phosphorus, and silicon.
An aryl phosphine of Formula (I):
- where n is an integer in a range from 1 to 3, where R1 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where each R2 and R2′ is independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, a halogen, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl having 3 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where permissible substituents on R1, R2, R2′, R3 R4, R6, and R7 are functional groups that include heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen, halogen, sulfur, boron, phosphorus, and silicon, and where R5 is a bridging group that includes an aromatic ring and connects the aryl phosphine of Formula (I) to a second phosphine.
An aryl phosphine of Formula (I):
- where n is an integer in a range from 1 to 3, where R1 and R3 are independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where each R2 and R2′ is independently selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where R4 is selected from the group consisting of H, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl having 1 to 18 carbons, a halogen, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl having 3 to 18 carbons, and a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl ring, where permissible substituents on R1, R2, R2′, R4, R6, and R7 are functional groups that include heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of oxygen, nitrogen, halogen, sulfur, boron, phosphorus, fluorine, and silicon, and where R5 is a bridging group selected from the group consisting of Formulae (II) to (XVII):
- where Z is the aryl phosphine of Formula (I), where R8 and R9 are independently selected from H and an alkyl having 4 carbons, where R10 is selected from the group consisting of C and S, where R11 is selected from the group consisting of O and S, where R12, R13, R14 and R15 are each independently selected from the group consisting of C and O, where R16 is selected from the group consisting of N and C, with the proviso that when R16 is N then R14 and R15 are C.
