Abstract
An image projection apparatus comprises a projection unit configured to project an image onto a projection plane, a correction unit configured to correct a range of the image projected by the projection unit, a deformation unit configured to deform the projected range of the image according to a designated correction point, and a control unit configured to optically change the projected range of the image projected by the projection unit according to a designation of an outside of a predetermined range as the correction point.
Claims18
An image projection apparatus comprising:
- a projection unit configured to project an image onto a projection plane through a zoom lens;
- an instruction receiving unit configured to receive an instruction for moving a correction point for correcting a projected range of the image;
- a deformation unit configured to deform the projected range of the image according to a moved position of the correction point;
- and
- a control unit configured to, if the correction point is moved to an outside of a predetermined range, optically change the projected range of the image projected by the projection unit by driving the zoom lens in accordance with a movement of the correction point.
A control method of an image projection apparatus comprising (a) a projection unit configured to project an image onto a projection plane through a zoom lens, (b) an instruction receiving unit configured to receive an instruction for moving a correction point for correcting a projected range of the image, and (c) a deformation unit configured to deform the projected range of the image according to a moved position of the correction point, the control method comprising:
- optically changing, if the correction point is moved to an outside of a predetermined range, the projected range of the image projected by the projection unit by driving the zoom lens in accordance with a movement of the correction point.
