Abstract
Compositions that are effective in inhibiting gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase are disclosed. Methods of producing and using these compositions are also disclosed.
Claims23
A method of inhibiting the activity of gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT), the method comprising the steps of:
- obtaining a compound as represented by Formula (IIA), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein R1-R5 and R11-R17 are the same or different from each other, and wherein each of R1-R5 and R11-R17 is selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, F, Br, I, OH, an alkoxy, and NO2;
- and
- exposing the GGT to the compound, thereby inhibiting activity of the GGT.
1 more element
A compound represented by Formula (IIA) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- wherein R1-R5 and R11-R17 are the same or different from each other, and wherein each of R1-R5 and R11-R12 is selected from the group consisting of H, Cl, F, Br, I, OH, an alkoxy, and NO2;
- and
- wherein the compound is effective in inhibiting gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT).
