• an electronic control unit configured to perform a coast downshift, the electronic control unit being configured to execute blipping control during performance of the coast downshift, the electronic control unit being configured to determine whether blipping abnormality occurs, the electronic control unit being configured to disengage the engagement element on an engagement side when the blipping abnormality occurs during the performance of the coast downshift, the electronic control unit being configured to increase a speed of the engine in the blipping control, the blipping abnormality being a state that the blipping control is not executed normally during the performance of the coast downshift, and the engagement element on the engagement side being an engagement element that is changed from a disengaged state to an engaged state in the coast downshift.
