Abstract
This document provides methods and materials related to treating liver conditions. For example, the methods and materials relating to the use of cAMP inhibitors to treat liver conditions are provided.
Claims5
A method for inhibiting cyst growth in a mammal identified as having a liver cyst, wherein said method comprises contacting said liver cyst within said mammal with a cAMP inhibitor under conditions wherein the growth rate of said liver cyst is reduced as compared to the growth rate of a comparable liver cyst in a control mammal not contacted with said cAMP inhibitor, wherein said cAMP inhibitor is a somatostatin analog.
