Method and system of enhancing ganglion cell function to improve physical performance

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium comprising instructions for altering a retino-geniculo-cortical pathway of a user, the instructions for:

• displaying a first view set, the first view set comprising:
• a first field of view at a first color and a first intensity;
• a first stimulus, positioned at least partly within the first field of view, at a second color and a second intensity, wherein the second color is different from the first color or the second intensity is different from the first intensity;
• receiving a first input of the user responsive to the first view set;
• determining a characteristic for a second view set, the determining comprising:
• assessing whether a parameter of the first input of the user meets a first parameter criteria, wherein the first parameter criteria is not met if the first input of the user is not received within an allowed period of time;
• modifying a first value if the first parameter criteria is met;
• modifying a second value if the first parameter criteria is not met;
• calculating a first user rating based on the first value and the second value;
• comparing the first user rating to a user rating threshold;
• selecting the characteristic of the second view set based on the comparison of the first user rating to the user rating threshold.
