Assembly kit for generating an array of items of furniture

An assembly kit for generating an array of items of furniture, comprising:

• at least one first item of furniture which, in plan view, has a first pair of mutually opposite edges and a second pair of mutually opposite edges each connecting said first pair of edges to one another, wherein
• a length of each edge of said first pair of edges of said first item of furniture is greater than a length of each edge of said second pair of edges of said first item of furniture;
• said first pair of edges of said first item of furniture includes a convex edge having a convex curvature with a predetermined first radius of curvature;
• and
• said first pair of edges of said first item of furniture further includes one of a concave edge having a concave curvature or an edge having a substantially linear shape;
• and
• at least one second item of furniture which is configured different from said at least one first item of furniture, and which, in plan view, has a first pair of mutually opposite edges and a second pair of mutually opposite edges each connecting said first pair of edges to one another, wherein
• a length of each edge of said first pair of edges of said second item of furniture is greater than a length of each edge of said second pair of edges of said second item of furniture;
• said first pair of edges of said second item of furniture includes a concave edge having a concave curvature with said predetermined first radius of curvature;
• and
• said first pair of edges of said second item of furniture further includes one of a convex edge having a convex curvature or an edge having a substantially linear shape.
