Abstract
Nutritional compositions delivered in vivo in a time controlled manner sustainable over long periods of time, provide enhancing athletic performance, increased hand/eye coordination and concentration on the task at hand.
Claims19
A hydrogel particle, wherein the particle has a diameter less than or equal to about 1000 micrometers, and wherein the particle comprises:
- (a) at least one biologically active agent;
- (b) one or more compounds for time controlled and sustained release of the at least one biologically active agent of (a) in vivo, wherein the one or more compounds for time controlled and sustained release are non-toxic and are crosslinked;
- (c) at least one compound that is pH-sensitive, wherein the at least one pH-sensitive compound does not swell at pH 1-3;
- and
- (d) at least one compound that is temperature-sensitive, wherein the at least one temperature-sensitive compound has a lower critical solution temperature in aqueous solution.
