## Abstract

A novel soybean variety, designated XBP34011 is provided. Also provided are the seeds of soybean variety XBP34011, cells from soybean variety XBP34011, plants of soybean XBP34011, and plant parts of soybean variety XBP34011. Methods provided include producing a soybean plant by crossing soybean variety XBP34011 with another soybean plant, methods for introgressing a transgenic trait, a mutant trait, and/or a native trait into soybean variety XBP34011, methods for producing other soybean varieties or plant parts derived from soybean variety XBP34011, and methods of characterizing soybean variety XBP34011. Soybean seed, cells, plants, germplasm, breeding lines, varieties, and plant parts produced by these methods and/or derived from soybean variety XBP34011 are further provided.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A plant, a plant part, or a seed of soybean variety XBP34011, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-123481.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A soybean plant, or a part thereof, produced by growing the seed of claim 1.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A method for developing a second soybean plant comprising applying plant breeding techniques to the plant of claim 1, wherein application of the techniques results in development of the second soybean plant.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

A method for producing soybean seed, the method comprising crossing two soybean plants and harvesting the resultant soybean seed, wherein at least one soybean plant is the soybean plant of claim 1.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

An F1 soybean seed produced by the method of claim 4.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

A soybean plant, or a non-seed part thereof, produced by growing the seed of claim 5.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

A method for developing a second soybean plant, the method comprising applying plant breeding techniques to the plant of claim 6, wherein application of the techniques results in development of the second soybean plant.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

A method of producing a soybean plant comprising a locus conversion, the method comprising introducing a locus conversion into the plant of claim 1, wherein the locus conversion provides a trait selected from the group consisting of male sterility, a site-specific recombination site, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphorus, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide resistance, insect resistance, and disease resistance.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

A herbicide resistant soybean plant produced by the method of claim 8, wherein the plant comprises the locus conversion and otherwise all the phenotypic and morphological traits of soybean variety XBP34011 when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 10 (depends on 8)

A disease resistant soybean plant produced by the method of claim 8, wherein the plant comprises the locus conversion and otherwise all the phenotypic and morphological traits of soybean variety XBP34011 when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 11 (depends on 8)

An insect resistant soybean plant produced by the method of claim 8, wherein the plant comprises the locus conversion and otherwise all the phenotypic and morphological traits of soybean variety XBP34011 when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The soybean plant of claim 11, wherein the locus conversion comprises a transgene encoding a Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) endotoxin.

### Claim 13 (depends on 8)

The method of claim 8, wherein the locus conversion is introduced by backcrossing or transformation.

### Claim 14

A soybean seed obtained by introducing a transgene into soybean variety XBP34011, wherein a plant grown from the seed comprises, other than the transgene, all the phenotypic and morphological traits of soybean variety XBP34011 when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The seed of claim 14, wherein the transgene confers a trait selected from the group consisting of male sterility, a site-specific recombination site, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphorus, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide resistance, insect resistance, and disease resistance.

### Claim 16 (depends on 14)

The seed of claim 14, wherein the transgene is introduced by backcrossing or transformation.

### Claim 17 (depends on 14)

A soybean plant, or a part thereof, produced by growing the seed of claim 14.

### Claim 18 (depends on 14)

A method comprising isolating nucleic acids from the plant, plant part, or seed of claim 14.

### Claim 19

A converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell of soybean variety XBP34011, representative seed of the variety having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-123481, wherein the converted seed, plant, plant part or plant cell comprises a locus conversion and otherwise produces a plant comprising all the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean variety XBP34011 when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 20

A plant produced by introducing a single locus conversion into soybean variety XBP34011, or a selfed progeny thereof comprising the single locus conversion, wherein the single locus conversion was introduced into soybean variety XBP34011 by backcrossing or genetic transformation and wherein a sample of seed of soybean variety XBP34011 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-123481.
