Abstract
The invention provides systems and methods for mounting a fuel system to a vehicle. In some embodiments, the invention provides systems and methods for mounting a fuel system comprising a fuel tank to a vehicle chassis using a bracket, which may be a multi-part bracket, and may be referred to as a “drop and go” bracket.
Claims15
A fuel support system comprising:
- a bracket comprising:
- a chassis bracket configured to be attached to a vehicle chassis;
- and
- a fuel system bracket configured to be attached to a fuel tank to mount the fuel tank to the vehicle chassis, wherein (1) the chassis bracket comprises a groove into which a part of the fuel system bracket slides, and (2) the fuel system bracket comprises a cutout into which a part of the chassis bracket slides.
