Abstract
A method for actuating a component of a drive train of a motor vehicle. The component is mechanically prestressed into a safe state. The method has the steps: sensing a fault state; sensing whether the fault state is a first or second type of fault state; immediate interruption of the actuation of the component so that the component is passively transferred into the safe state by the mechanical prestress if the fault state, is of the first type of fault state, or actuation of the component in such a way that the component is actively transferred into the safe state if the fault state is of the second type of fault state.
Claims23
A method for actuating a component of a drive train of a motor vehicle, wherein the component has a safe state, wherein the component can be actively transferred into the safe state by means of an actuator, wherein the component is mechanically prestressed into the safe state, and wherein the component can be passively transferred into the safe state by means of a mechanical prestress, the method having the steps:
- sensing a fault state,
- when the sensed fault state is a first type of fault state, then immediately interrupting an actuation of the component by switching the actuator to a currentless state so that the component is passively transferred into the safe state by the mechanical prestress, and when the sensed fault state is a second type of fault state, then enabling an actuation of the component in such a way that the component is actively transferred into the safe state by the actuator.
A control device for controlling a component of a drive train of a motor vehicle, wherein the control device is implemented to conduct a method for actuating a component of the drive train, wherein the component has a safe state, wherein the component can be actively transferred into the safe state by means of an actuator, wherein the component is mechanically prestressed into the safe state, and wherein the component can be passively transferred into the safe state by means of a mechanical prestress, having:
- a sensor for sensing a fault state,
- when the sensed fault state is a first type of fault state, then the control device immediately interrupts the actuation of the component by switching the actuator to a currentless state so that the component is passively transferred into the safe state by the mechanical pre-stress, and when the sensed fault state is a second type of fault state, then actuating the component in such a way that the component is actively transferred into the safe state by the actuator.
