Abstract
A device is provided for visually indicating a replay status of media items on a media device. Aspects of the device include displaying in a graphical user interface (GUI) of the media device a representation of a first media item; displaying a profile score of the first media item that is based on user preferences; and displaying a replay score for the first media item.

A device for a media recommendation system, the device having a processor and comprising:
- a communication interface communicatively coupling the device to other devices in a network;
- and
- a control system operably executed by the processor, the control system associated with the communication interface and adapted to:
- display in a graphical user interface (GUI) of the device a representation of a first media item;
- display a profile score of the first media item that is based on stored user preferences;
- display a replay score for the first media item, wherein the profile score and the replay score are displayed approximately simultaneously;
- and
- remove the display of the replay score when the replay score is equal to the profile score.

- means for coupling the device to other devices in a network;
- means for displaying in a graphical user interface (GUI) of the device a representation of a first media item;
- means for displaying a profile score of the first media item that is based on stored user preferences;
- means for displaying a replay score for the first media item, wherein the profile score and the replay score are displayed approximately simultaneously;
- and
- means for removing the display of the replay score when the replay score is equal to the profile score.
