Abstract
The present invention relates to fluorocarbon vectors for the delivery of influenza antigens to immunoresponsive target cells. It further relates to fluorocarbon vector-influenza antigen constructs and the use of such vectors associated with antigens as vaccines and immunotherapeutics in animals, including humans.
Claims10
A pharmaceutical composition for intracellular delivery of an antigen, the composition comprising an antigenic influenza peptide sequence covalently attached to a vector construct, wherein the vector construct comprises a chain comprising from 3 to 30 carbon atoms at least one of which is substituted with a fluorine, chlorine, bromine, or iodine and the antigenic influenza peptide sequence is up to 40 amino acids in length and comprises the amino acid sequence of any one of SEQ ID NOs:
- 1-65.
