Abstract
Provided is an antibody effective for treatment and/or prevention of gallbladder cancer. A pharmaceutical composition for treatment and/or prevention of gallbladder cancer contains as an active ingredient an antibody or a fragment thereof having immunological reactivity with a CAPRIN-1 protein or a fragment thereof comprising at least seven consecutive amino acid residues of the amino acid sequence of the protein.
Claims19
A method of treating CAPRIN-1 expressing gallbladder cancer, comprising:
- administering a pharmaceutical composition to a subject having CAPRIN-1 expressing gallbladder cancer, said pharmaceutical composition comprising, as an active ingredient, an antibody or a fragment thereof having immunological reactivity with a CAPRIN-1 protein expressed on the surface of a gallbladder tumor cell that comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in any of even sequence numbers from SEQ ID NOs:
- 2 to 30.
