## Abstract

A fused heterocyclic compound having an enteropeptidase inhibitory action and use of the compound as a medicament for treatment or prophylaxis of obesity, diabetes mellitus, etc., are provided. Specifically, a compound represented by the following formula (I): wherein each symbol is as defined herein, or a salt thereof and use of the compound as a medicament for treatment or prophylaxis of obesity, diabetes mellitus, etc., are provided.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A compound which is (5R)-3-(3-((4-Carbamimidamidobenzoyl)oxy)phenyl)-5-(carboxymethyl)-4, 5-dihydro-1,2-oxazole-5-carboxylic acid or a salt thereof.

### Claim 2

A compound which is (5S)-3-(3-((4-Carbamimidamidobenzoyl)oxy)phenyl)-5-(carboxymethyl)-4, 5-dihydro-1,2-oxazole-5-carboxylic acid or a salt thereof.

### Claim 3

A compound which is 2,2′-(3-(3-((4-Carbamimidamidobenzoyl)oxy)phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1,2-oxazole-5,5-diyl)diacetic acid or a salt thereof.
