A method of treating and/or preventing dermatologic toxicities induced by a targeted therapy comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising berberine, wherein said composition is a gel-based formulation, wherein said composition comprises sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), wherein about 90% of an average particle size of the berberine is less than 10 μm.
A method of treating and/or preventing dermatologic toxicities induced by a targeted therapy comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising berberine, wherein said composition is a gel-based formulation, wherein said composition comprises sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), wherein about 50% of an average particle size of the berberine is less than 4 μm.
