Abstract
New compositions and methods are described for modulating the rate of conversion of ethylene bisdithiocarbamate fungicides, such as mancozeb, into ethylene bis-isothiocyanate sulfide (EBIS).
Claims14
An aggregate solid particle comprising:
- an ethylene bisdithiocarbamate (EBDC) fungicide configured to convert to ethylene bis-isothiocyanate sulfide (EBIS), wherein the EBDC fungicide is mancozeb,
- a coating, wherein the coating includes about 2 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of an EBIS conversion-modulating polymer, based on the total weight of the aggregate solid particle, wherein the weight ratio of the EBIS conversion-modulating polymer to the EBDC fungicide is from about 1:100 to about 1:5, and wherein the EBIS conversion-modulating polymer is polyvinyl alcohol;
- and
- a dispersant.
