A novel maize variety designated X08F046 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X08F046 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X08F046 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X08F046, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X08F046. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X08F046.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X08F046 seed, representative F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1KYY with a second plant of variety PH1V5T, wherein representative seed of said varieties PH1KYY and PH1V5T have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122119 and PTA-121499, respectively.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X08F046 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the converted seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1 KYY with a second plant of variety PH1V5T;
