A novel maize variety designated X70F220 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X70F220 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X70F220 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X70F220, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X70F220. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X70F220.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X70F220 seed, representative F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH18HB with a second plant of variety PH26NC, wherein representative seed of said varieties PH18HB and PH26NC have been deposited under ATCC Accession Numbers PTA-122445 and PTA-122440, respectively.
An F1 hybrid maize variety X70F220 seed further comprising a locus conversion, the converted seed being produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH18HB with a second plant of variety PH26NC;
