Abstract
The present invention relates to compounds acting as selective inhibitors of CD40-TRAF6 interaction, their use as medicaments and their use in the treatment of (chronic) inflammatory diseases. The present invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds.
Claims1
A method for treating a subject having a disease selected from atherosclerosis, obesity-associated insulin resistance, obesity-associated adipose tissue inflammation, hepatosteatosis, peritonitis and sepsis, wherein said method comprises administering to a subject in need of such treatment a compound selected from the group consisting of:
- wherein said compound blocks CD40-TRAF6 interaction, thereby treating the said disease.
