Abstract
Color converter comprising at least one polymer and at least one organic fluorescent dye comprising at least one structural unit of the formula (I) where the structural unit may be mono- or polysubstituted by identical or different substituents and where one or more CH groups of the six-membered ring of the benzimidazole structure shown may be replaced by nitrogen.

An illumination device, comprising at least one LED and at least one color converter comprising at least one polymer and at least one organic fluorescent dye comprising at least one structural unit of the formula (I):
- wherein the structural unit may be mono- or polysubstituted by identical or different substituents and one or more CH groups of the six-membered ring of the benzimidazole of the structural unit are optionally replaced by nitrogen.
