Abstract
An engine includes a first cylinder communicating with a first intake port and a first exhaust port, and an exhaust assembly coupled to the engine and including a first exhaust manifold coupled to the first exhaust port. The first exhaust manifold is angled relative to the first exhaust port.
Claims35
An engine, comprising:
- a first cylinder communicating with a first intake port and a first exhaust port;
- a first cylinder head positioned over the first cylinder;
- a heat sink defining a periphery of the first cylinder head;
- and
- an exhaust assembly coupled to the engine and including a first exhaust manifold coupled to the first exhaust port and a first exhaust manifold cover adapted to be coupled to the first cylinder head, wherein the first exhaust manifold includes an angled portion positioned within the heat sink and the angled portion is enclosed by the first exhaust manifold cover within the heat sink.

An engine, comprising:
- a first cylinder communicating with a first intake port and a first exhaust port, the first cylinder having an outer surface;
- a first cylinder head positioned over the first cylinder and including a plurality of cooling fins;
- an exhaust assembly coupled to the engine exhaust port and including a first exhaust manifold coupled to the first exhaust port, and the first exhaust manifold includes an angled portion positioned within the cooling fins;
- and
- a first exhaust manifold cover positioned over the first exhaust manifold and cooperating with the outer surface of the first cylinder to form a continuation of the outer surface of the first cylinder, and the first exhaust manifold cover enclosing the angled portion of the first exhaust manifold within the cooling fins.
