Abstract
Provided are compositions comprising newly identified protein fragments of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, polynucleotides that encode them and complements thereof, related agents, and methods of use thereof in diagnostic, drug discovery, research, and therapeutic applications.
Claims11
An isolated polynucleotide that encodes a seryl-tRNA synthetase (SRS) polypeptide which consists of a sequence that is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:38, 40, or 42, or a fragment of SEQ ID NO:38, 40, or 42 which is 40 or more contiguous amino acids of SEQ ID NO:38, 40, or 42, wherein the polynucleotide is selected from (a) a cDNA polynucleotide and (b) a modified mRNA polynucleotide.
