Abstract
A method includes selecting a candidate component carrier for a cell and determining if said candidate component carrier is to be used in said cell in dependence on information indicating activity in at least one of said cell and another cell using said candidate component carrier.
Claims34
A method comprising:
- selecting a candidate component carrier for a cell;
- and
- determining that said candidate component carrier is to be used in said cell in dependence on spatial information and information indicating activity in at least one of said cell and another cell using said candidate component carrier, wherein said activity comprises an average resource utilization due to temporal traffic variability.
An apparatus comprising
- at least one processor and
- at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and computer program code configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to:
- select a candidate component carrier for a cell;
- and
- determine that said candidate component carrier is to be used in said cell in dependence on spatial information and information indicating activity in at least one of said cell and another cell using said candidate component carrier, wherein said activity comprises an average resource utilization due to temporal traffic variability.
