Abstract
Provided are compositions comprising newly identified protein fragments of aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases, polynucleotides that encode them and complements thereof, related agents, and methods of use thereof in diagnostic, drug discovery, research, and therapeutic applications.
Claims9
A pharmaceutical composition, comprising an isolated polynucleotide that encodes a lysyl-tRNA synthetase (KRS) polypeptide which consists of a sequence that is at least 95% identical to SEQ ID NO:50, 54, 26, or 18, or a fragment of SEQ ID NO:50, 54, 26, or 18 which is at least 60 contiguous amino acids of SEQ ID NO:50, 54, 26, or 18, wherein the polynucleotide is selected from (a) a cDNA polynucleotide and (b) a modified mRNA polynucleotide, and wherein the composition has less than about 10 EU endotoxin/mg protein.
