Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to compositions having lecithin and an organic acid and related methods. The disclosed compositions may also include one or more co-surfactants such as anionic surfactants and/or non-ionic surfactants, and may be used as a dispersant.

A composition in the form of a nano-dispersion, comprising:
- a lecithin;
- an acid;
- a salt of the acid;
- an ester of the acid;
- and
- water.

A dispersant composition in the form of a nano-emulsion comprising:
- lactic acid;
- ethyl lactate;
- sodium lactate;
- lecithin;
- and
- water.

A process for producing a product in the form of a nanodispersion, the process comprising:
- mixing lecithin with a cosurfactant, thus producing a lecithin-cosurfactant blend;
- mixing the lecithin-cosurfactant blend with an acid and a compound selected from the group consisting of a salt of the acid, an ester of the acid, and a combination thereof;
- mixing water with the lecithin-cosurfactant blend, the acid and the compound, thus producing the nanodispersion.
