Abstract
A producing method of a high-purity pyrophosphate comprising a calcination of the orthophosphate under the condition of 120° C.-350° C.; and a producing method suitable for manufacturing effectively the high-purity melamine pyrophosphate.

A method of producing a melamine pyrophosphate powder, comprising producing said powder by calcination of melamine orthophosphate at 120° C. -350° C., in solid phase, with stirring, whereby said melamine pyrophosphate powder has a purity of 96.5% or more.
