Replaceable machine-mounted male input power connections

A welding system, comprising:

• a welding torch;
• a power source configured to deliver power to the welding torch to perform a welding process;
• and
• a wire delivery system configured to deliver a consumable wire electrode to the welding torch during the welding process, the wire delivery system comprising:
• a wire supply unit configured to deliver a consumable wire electrode to a welding torch during a welding process;
• a housing extending about at least a portion of the wire feeder;
• a power connection unit at least partially arranged within the housing and configured to transfer power received from the power source during the welding process, the power connection unit comprising:
• an input configured to receive power from the power source;
• an output configured to deliver the power received at the input to drive the welding process;
• a bus system, configured to connect the input and the output;
• and
• a male connector having a conductive post extending to a threaded cylindrical shaft, the male conductor forming at least a portion of at least one of the input and the output and extending from the housing through a coupling assembly, wherein the coupling assembly comprises a correspondingly threaded portion configured to engage the threaded cylindrical shaft of the male connector to the bus system.
