Abstract
A novel maize variety designated X08D411 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof, produced by crossing Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. proprietary inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprises crossing hybrid maize variety X08D411 with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X08D411 through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. This invention relates to the maize variety X08D411, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X08D411. This invention further relates to methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X08D411.
Claims21
A hybrid maize variety X08D411 seed, wherein representative seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1CJB with a second plant of variety PH1K8P, and wherein representative seed of said varieties PH1CJB and PH1K8P have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-120319 and PTA-121970, respectively.
A hybrid maize variety X08D411 seed further comprising a locus conversion, wherein said seed is produced by crossing a first plant of variety PH1CJB with a second plant of variety PH1K8P;
- wherein representative seed of said varieties PH1CJB and PH1K8P have been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-120319 and PTA-121970, respectively;
- and wherein at least one of said varieties PH1CJB and PH1K8P further comprises a locus conversion;
- and wherein said hybrid maize variety X08D411 seed further comprising a locus conversion produces a plant having otherwise essentially the same phenotypic traits as hybrid maize variety X08D411 when grown under the same environmental conditions.
