Abstract
Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for photographing an object. One or more shooting modes are selected and a photograph is taken in accordance with the one or more selected shooting modes.
Claims20
A method in an electronic device, the method comprising:
- detecting a touch input for a photographing instruction on a touch screen of the electronic device while displaying a preview screen;
- in response to detecting the touch input, displaying menus which respectively correspond to a plurality of shooting scenes in the preview screen;
- selecting one of the menus by detecting a movement of the touch input to the selected menu;
- and
- photographing in accordance with a shooting scene corresponding to the selected menu when a release of the touch input is detected on the selected menu.

A method of operating an electronic device, the method comprising:
- recognizing a motion input of an object by a motion detector of the electronic device;
- in response to recognition of the motion input, displaying menus which respectively correspond to a plurality of shooting scenes in a preview screen;
- selecting one of the menus displayed in the preview screen by recognizing a motion input of the object;
- and
- instructing a camera unit of the electronic device or a camera unit of another electronic device to photograph in accordance with the selected one or more shooting scenes.

- a display;

- a processor operatively coupled to the display, the processor configured to:
- detect a touch input for photographing instruction on a touch screen of the electronic device while displaying a preview screen;
- in response to detecting the touch input, display menus which respectively correspond to a plurality of shooting scenes in the preview screen;
- select one of the menus by detecting a movement of the touch input to the selected menus;
- and
- photograph in accordance with a shooting scene corresponding to the selected menu when a release of the touch input is detected on the selected menu.
