Abstract
A cleaning device for cleaning respirators, in particular breathing regulators and/or breathing masks, is proposed. The cleaning device comprises at least one cleaning chamber for receiving at least one respirator. The cleaning device also has at least one fluid device for applying at least one cleaning fluid to the respirator. The cleaning device also has at least one pressure application device with at least one pressure connection. The pressure connection can be connected to at least one gas carrying element of the respirator. The pressure application device is set up for applying pressurized gas to the gas carrying element.
Claims42
A cleaning device for cleaning respirators, comprising:
- a cleaning chamber for receiving a respirator;
- an upper and a lower nozzle arm, the nozzle arms having nozzles for applying a cleaning liquid directly to the respirator, wherein the liquid emerging from the nozzles impinges directly on the respirator, the nozzles being adapted for spraying, sprinkling and/or jetting;
- a holder adapted to receive the respirator, the holder being removably insertable into the cleaning chamber to bring the respirator in a position between the upper and lower nozzle arms, wherein, when the holder is inserted into the cleaning chamber, the nozzles on the upper nozzle arm are located above the respirator and the nozzles on the lower arm are located underneath the respirator, wherein, by means of the upper and lower nozzle arms, cleaning liquid may be applied to the respirators from at least two directions, the holder being configured to align the respirator relative to the nozzles when the holder loaded with a respirator is inserted into the chamber;
- a pressure application device configured to provide pressurized gas to the chamber, the pressure application device having a pressure connection that is connectable to a gas-carrying element of the respirator, wherein the pressure application device is configured to apply pressurized gas to the gas-carrying element of the respirator during the application of the cleaning liquid.
A cleaning device for cleaning respirators, comprising:
- a cleaning chamber for receiving a respirator;
- an upper and a lower nozzle arm, the nozzle arms having nozzles for applying a cleaning liquid directly to the respirator, wherein the liquid emerging from the nozzles impinges directly on the respirator, the nozzles being adapted for spraying, sprinkling and/or jetting;
- a holder adapted to receive the respirator, the holder being removably insertable into the cleaning chamber to bring the respirator in a position between the upper and lower nozzle arms, wherein, when the holder is inserted into the cleaning chamber, the nozzles on the upper nozzle arm are located above the respirator and the nozzles on the lower arm are located underneath the respirator, wherein, by means of the upper and lower nozzle arms, cleaning liquid may be applied to the respirators from at least two directions, the holder being configured to align the respirator relative to the nozzles when the holder loaded with a respirator is inserted into the chamber;
- a pressure application device with a pressure connection, the pressure connection being connectable to a breathing regulator of the respirator to establish a gas-tight and liquid-tight connection to the breathing regulator and being configured for applying pressurized gas to the inside of the breathing regulator during the application of the cleaning liquid.
A cleaning device for cleaning respirators, comprising:
- a cleaning chamber for receiving a respirator;
- an upper and a lower nozzle arm, the nozzle arms being rotatable and having nozzles for applying a cleaning liquid directly to the respirator, wherein the liquid emerging from the nozzles impinges directly on the respirator, the nozzles being adapted for spraying, sprinkling and/or jetting;
- a holder adapted to receive the respirator, the holder being removably insertable into the cleaning chamber to bring the respirator in a position between the upper and lower nozzle arms, wherein, when the holder is inserted into the cleaning chamber, the nozzles on the upper nozzle arm are located above the respirator and the nozzles on the lower arm are located underneath the respirator, wherein, by means of the upper and lower nozzle arms, cleaning liquid may be applied to the respirators from at least two directions, the holder being configured to align the respirator relative to the nozzles when the holder loaded with a respirator is inserted into the chamber;
- a pressure application device with a pressure connection, the pressure connection being directly connectable to a gas carrying element of the respirator to establish a gas-tight and liquid-tight connection to the gas carrying element and being configured for directly applying pressurized gas to the inside of the gas carrying element during the application of the cleaning liquid, wherein the gas-tight and liquid tight connection between the pressure connection and the gas carrying element prevents the cleaning liquid from entering the inside of the gas carrying element.
A cleaning device for cleaning respirators, comprising:
- a cleaning chamber for receiving a respirator;
- a cleaning liquid supply source;
- an upper and a lower nozzle arm fluidly connected to the cleaning liquid supply source, the nozzle arms being rotatable and having nozzles for applying the cleaning liquid directly to the respirator, wherein the liquid emerging from the nozzles impinges directly on the respirator, the nozzles being adapted for spraying, sprinkling and/or jetting;
- a holder adapted to receive the respirator, the holder being removably insertable into the cleaning chamber to bring the respirator in a position between the upper and lower nozzle arms, wherein, when the holder is inserted into the cleaning chamber, the nozzles on the upper nozzle arm are located above the respirator and the nozzles on the lower arm are located underneath the respirator, wherein, by means of the upper and lower nozzle arms, cleaning liquid may be applied to the respirators from at least two directions, the holder being configured to align the respirator relative to the nozzles when the holder loaded with a respirator is inserted into the chamber;
- and
- a pressurized gas source fluidly connected to a pressure application device, the pressure application device having a pressure connection connectable to a gas carrying element of the respirator to establish a gas-tight and liquid-tight connection to the gas carrying element and being configured for transferring pressurized gas from the pressure connection directly to the inside of the gas carrying element during the application of the cleaning liquid, wherein the gas-tight and liquid tight connection between the pressure connection and the gas carrying element prevents the cleaning liquid from entering the inside of the gas carrying element;
- wherein the pressure connection is integrated into and located in the holder, and wherein the pressure connection is configured to reversibly fluidly couple to the pressure application device when the holder is inserted into the chamber.
