Abstract
The inventive technique includes a system, method and device for treating a patient. The device includes a magnetic device having a core created by a binder process having a relatively low temperature. The device further includes a conductor in electrical communication with the core.
Claims26
A device for treating a patient, comprising:
- a magnetic device having a core created by a binder process, wherein ferromagnetic material comprising ferromagnetic particles is combined with an insulative binding material such that the ferromagnetic particles are substantially insulated from each other, and is compressed to about 90% of theoretical density or greater;
- and
- a conductor in electrical communication with the core, wherein the conductor is wound around the core that comprises the ferromagnetic particles that are substantially insulated from each other.
