Ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus

An ophthalmic laser treatment apparatus for treating a patient's eye by irradiating a treatment laser beam thereto, comprising:

• a treatment laser source;
• an optical scanner configured to scan an irradiation spot of the treatment laser beam from the treatment laser source onto a tissue of the patient's eye in two dimensions;
• a memory configured to store a plurality of irradiation patterns in each of which a plurality of the irradiation spots are arranged in a predetermined arrangement, the irradiation patterns including a circular arc pattern in which the plurality of the irradiation spots are arranged in a circular arc form;
• a user interface configured to:
• input a selecting signal to select a desired irradiation pattern from the irradiation patterns stored in the memory;
• and
• input a curvature changing signal to change a curvature of the circular arc pattern;
• and
• a processor configured to, in response the curvature changing signal,
• change the curvature of the selected circular arc pattern based on the curvature changing signal while automatically maintaining intervals between the spots that are adjacent in the selected circular arc pattern;
• and
• control driving of the treatment laser source and the optical scanner to sequentially irradiate the treatment laser beam based on the circular arc pattern whose curvature is changed.
