Terminal receiving resource block allocation and method therefor

A method comprising,

• receiving, by a terminal, assignment information indicating Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs), into which a plurality of subcarriers in a frequency domain are divided, allocated to the terminal in one of a plurality of resource allocations including:
• a resource allocation for allocating Distributed Virtual Resource Blocks (DVRBs) with a same DVRB number, the DVRBs with the same DVRB being mapped to a plurality of PRBs based on a determined gap and a determined number, the determined gap and the determined number being associated with a system bandwidth and the determined gap being an integer multiple of the determined number;
• and
• a resource allocation allocating one or more Resource Block Groups (RBGs), each RBG having the determined number of one or more consecutive PRBs, and
• decoding, by the terminal, data based on the assignment information.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing contents which configure a terminal to perform a method, the method comprising:

• receiving assignment information indicating Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs), into which a plurality of subcarriers in a frequency domain are divided, allocated to the terminal in one of a plurality of resource allocations including:
• a resource allocation allocating Distributed Virtual Resource Blocks (DVRBs) with a same DVRB number, the DVRBs with the same DVRB being mapped to a plurality of PRBs based on a determined gap and a determined number, the determined gap and the determined number being associated with a system bandwidth and the determined gap being an integer multiple of the determined number;
• and
• a resource allocation allocating one or more Resource Block Groups (RBGs) to a terminal, each RBG having the determined number of one or more consecutive PRBs, and
• decoding data based on the assignment information.
