Abstract
Methods and apparatuses are provided for transmitting and receiving information. A User Equipment (UE) receives information related to a cyclic shift value α transmitted from a Node B. The UE obtains a reference sequence based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence and ejα. The UE transmits the reference sequence in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol to the Node B. The SC-FDMA symbol is predefined among a plurality of SC-FDMA symbols in a slot of a subframe.

A method for transmitting information, the method comprising:
- receiving, by a User Equipment (UE), information related to a cyclic shift value α transmitted from a Node B;
- obtaining, by the UE, a reference sequence based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence and ejα;
- and
- transmitting, by the UE, the reference sequence in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol to the Node B,
- wherein the SC-FDMA symbol is predefined among a plurality of SC-FDMA symbols in a slot of a subframe.
A method for receiving information, the method comprising:
- transmitting, by a Node B, information related to a cyclic shift value α to a User Equipment (UE);
- receiving, by the Node B, a reference sequence determined based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence and ejα in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol from the UE,
- wherein the SC-FDMA symbol is predefined among a plurality of SC-FDMA symbols in a slot of a subframe.
An apparatus for transmitting information, the apparatus comprising:
- a controller configured to obtain a reference sequence based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence and ejα;
- and
- a transceiver configured to receive information related to a cyclic shift value α transmitted from a Node B and transmit the reference sequence in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol to the Node B,
- wherein the SC-FDMA symbol is predefined among a plurality of SC-FDMA symbols in a slot of a subframe.
An apparatus for receiving information, the apparatus comprising:
- a transceiver configured to transmit information related to a cyclic shift value α to a User Equipment (UE) and receive a reference sequence determined based on a Zadoff-Chu sequence and ejα in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol from the UE;
- and
- a controller configured to control the transceiver,
- wherein the SC-FDMA symbol is predefined among a plurality of SC-FDMA symbols in a slot of a subframe.
