Abstract
A double-stranded nucleic acid molecule including (a) a sense strand which includes a nucleotide sequence corresponding to a target sequence indicated by any one of SEQ ID Nos.: 1 to 21, and (b) an antisense strand which includes a nucleotide sequence complementary to that of the sense strand specified in (a), wherein the double-stranded nucleic acid molecule is for suppressing the expression of at least one of APP and EBAG9 genes.
Claims4
A method for inhibiting cancer cell proliferation comprising:
- administering at least one of a double-stranded nucleic acid molecule, a DNA which comprises a nucleotide sequence encoding the double-stranded nucleic acid molecule, and a vector which comprises the DNA in an amount effective for inhibiting cancer cell proliferation to a subject having cancer,
- wherein the double-stranded nucleic acid molecule comprises (a) a sense strand which comprises a nucleotide sequence corresponding to a target sequence indicated by any one of SEQ ID Nos.:
- 1 to 14 and (b) an antisense strand which comprises a nucleotide sequence complementary to that of the sense strand specified in (a),
- wherein the double-stranded nucleic acid molecule is for suppressing the expression of APP gene, and
- wherein the cancer is at least one selected from the group consisting of prostate cancer, bladder cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, uterine cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer, and kidney cancer.
