Abstract
Solvent-based inkjet ink formulations including an organic solvent, a resin, a surfactant, and a colorant are provided. The inks have many desirable attributes such as extended decap time.
Claims27
An inkjet ink, comprising:
- a fast organic solvent,
- a resin,
- a surfactant, and
- a colorant,
- wherein the ink is a thermal inkjet ink, has a drying time of less than about 2 seconds, and has a decap time of at least about one hour.
