Abstract
The present invention relates to unique delivery systems and the use of an imidazobenzodiazepine derivative, such as flumazenil either alone or in combination with other receptor antagonists in the treatment of disease or medical disorders.
Claims12
A method for treating benzodiazepine overdose in a human subject in need thereof, the method consisting of a) providing a preparation consisting of flumazenil as its sole active agent, and b) administering the preparation as a single dose to a human subject to provide flumazenil at a continuous rate of between 40 μg/h to 1000 μg/h over a period of time of greater than four days.
