System and method for flavoring food

A system for flavoring food, comprising:

• a distribution tube having one or more slots,
• wherein the one or more slots are oriented at an angle to dispense a food flavoring throughout the length of the distribution tube and onto a metering tray provided below the distribution tube, the metering tray coupled to a frame and configured to hold the food flavoring;
• a metering roller coupled to the frame between the distribution tube and the metering tray, the metering roller having an exterior axial surface defining a plurality of indentations, the plurality of indentations being configured to capture a precise and measurable amount of the food flavoring as the metering roller rotates the plurality of indentations through the food flavoring disposed along the metering tray;
• a displacement blade coupled to the frame, wherein the displacement blade disperses the food flavoring from the plurality of indentations;
• and
• a metering blade coupled to the frame, the metering blade configured to level the captured food flavoring.
