Abstract

Isolated monoclonal antibodies which bind to human CD38 and related antibody-based compositions and molecules, are disclosed. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the antibodies and therapeutic and diagnostic methods for using the antibodies.

An isolated antibody that binds to human CD38, which antibody is encoded by a human heavy chain nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence in its variable region as set forth in SEQ ID NO:

1, 6, 11, 16 or 21, and a human light chain nucleic acid comprising a nucleotide sequence in its variable region as set forth in SEQ ID NOs:
26, 31, 36, 41 or 46.

An isolated human antibody that binds to CD38, wherein the antibody comprises
